Monday Etsy Madness- Chocolate!

by Susan Myers on February 20, 2012

Welcome to another Monday Etsy Madness!  Today we are celebrating all things chocolate!  Why?  Well, why not?  Chocolate is one of the four main food groups right?  Right behind pizza and nachos, I believe.  Anyway, the nice folks at Etsy have more than you could ever need in chocolate wares.  Come see what I found!

Chocolate Brown Kawaii Teddy Bear- Bijou Kitty-  Susan from Rocky River, OH
Meet Rafe. Rafe has all the rakish charm and sophistication of a cultured French bachelor. If he were a person, you’d spot Rake at the nearest cafe, espresso in hand reading Sartre; because fiction is so pedestrian, non? Rafe is a philosopher, a poet and an activist. His shaggy brown fur is like that guy who rolls out of bed with the hair that looks like messy perfection. Rafe is about 14″ tall and made from a dark brown curly textured fur for his body, a creamy brown fur for his face and is finished with a safety nose and eyes and some embroidery floss. Because of his small bits, he is not recommended for infants.$34.00

Periodic Table Chocolate PillowYellow Bug Boutique- Cindy and Randy from Plano, TX
Lately it’s become a full-time job just trying to keep up with foods that are bad for you. Scientists tell us we’re surrounded with dangerous preservatives, leeching plastics, and fattening foods, all earning us a one-way ticket to the funeral parlor. Just looking at a chocolate chip cookie is enough to give you 8 different kinds of evil-sounding medical acronyms. Maybe COPD. Or PAD. Or CAD. Or Hypertensive something or other. Our friends in medical science are striving to help us, they say. Just follow scientific guidance on eating, and all will be well. But by all means, the scientists say, stay away from chocolate! So I’ve got a question. If science didn’t think chocolate was good for you, then why did they put it in the periodic table? I rest my case. Pass the brownies.  Approx 8 x 18 (20 x 46cm).  Stuffing included and enclosed. $38.00

Chocolate Coconut Soap- Vanilla Hill Soap
One big bar of soap made with saponified oils and butters including coconut oil, soybean oil, cocoa butter, mango butter, olive oil, and beesax; real cocoa powder; coconut & chocolate fragrance. It weighs about 4 1/2 ounces. $5.00

Cocoa Brown Mineral Eye Shadow- Pure Natural Minerals- Rose from New York
This dark brown is full of sparkle and shimmer. This shade reminds me of hot cocoa on a cold day! Use light layers for a soft brown shimmer or use many layers for a deeper color. You will get a 5 gram jar with 1 gram of product. A full jar with a sealed sifter top! These minerals are made with cosmetic grade ingredients! No fillers, No chemicals, No talcs or dyes. Just pure minerals from the earth.  $5.00

Chocolate Hippos Designer Dog Hoodie- Spoiled Bratzwear Canine Originals- Prescott, AZ

Stretchy, comfortable and SOFT, this European imported fabric is the BEST!  Generous body coverage for sun protection and warmth but open underneath for potty breaks. Generous hood has a squared off top for plenty of room.  Size medium will fit dogs up to 15 pounds.  If you need a different size, just ask. They can fit all dogs up to 20 pounds with this design. Print placement will vary.  $28.50
