Recent Book Reviews:

I like that you offer two projects with different degrees of difficulty using the same beautiful pattern so that I can pick which project works best for me.  It looks like I may be trying my hand at the Faux Stained Glass project in the near future! ~ Debi Wilson

I love the awesome pictures and the straight forward instructions. She uses techniques that look really fun to do, with or without the kids and as seen in the pictures…they yield awesome, professional results!  ~ Monica McConkey- Arma Dei

I know some crafters might be unsure when they hear these projects include terms like “stained glass,” “batik” and “quilting.” But, lucky for all of us, Suzy’s projects are easy to follow and are made using readily available materials.~ Claudia A. Lowman, M.Ed.

I have always wanted to create the look of stained glass art.  After buying galleryglass and leading for a simple striped vase, I decided I couldn’t really afford to go crazy with that technique.  Suzy’s ebook demonstrates how to create the look with a few simple supplies that most of us have on hand.  ~ Johnnie- Saved by Love Creations

If I purchase the e-book for the peacock tutorial…how do I print out the pattern??? Does it come in pieces and you put the pieces together? confused.

I bought your Majestic Peacock pattern and had a question. Are you supposed to let the black paint dry completely before you iron off the wax or iron immediately. I did a project as a trial run and all the black paint did not come off of the colors.

    Thank you

      Hi Tammy,
I let the paint dry, but it shouldn’t matter as everywhere you have waxed should not pick up the paint. When the wax is ironed off, any extra paint should come with it.

If you are having issues, I’d suggest painting only where the lines are. Also, you might want to go over the lines on your finished piece with a black fabric marker to make the cleaner. (after you’ve ironed off all the crayon)

Let me know if this helps. I’d love to see your finished project!
