Our theme this week for the Photography Challenge is water. My husband and I just returned for a vacation on the west coast, driving along the coastal highway from San Francisco to Seattle. I took at least 500 photos on this trip and over half of them were of the ocean. So, let just say I had plenty to choose from! This particular photo was taken just behind our hotel along the coast of Oregon in Yachats.
The hotel sat right along the shoreline and we spent hours walking along the rocks, taking photos and enjoying the beautiful weather. The tide was coming in and the water splashed huge geysers against the rocks as it slowly moved in.
So how did you do?
Email your water submissions to me! Check out the Submission Guidelines. I will post your photos here along with any information that you would like to include. This is a brown pelican at Almaden Lake in San Jose, CA. I was surprised to see these pelicans at the lake, I had only ever seen them at the ocean before! ~Christine –http://angelstitchembroidery.blogspot.com
Next Week’s Theme- Signs
Have any photos of cool looking signs? I know that I tend to take photos of occasional signs that make me laugh, or vintage signs that make me smile. Since signs are everywhere, you have much to choose from. Look around and see what there is to offer and take an artistic photo of a sign that speaks to you. Or maybe just one that really needs it’s photo taken.
It’s all in the translation. Know what I mean? Need a few ideas?
See you back next week!
