With Valentines Day just around the corner, there are tons of great Valentine Sweets recipes to be found on the internet. Since I am currently on a diet that involves large amounts of chicken and stupid salad, naturally my mind is on chocolate. Constantly. In fact, I’m pretty sure I dreamed about chocolate last night.
So, I felt the need to peruse the internet and torture myself. But it was certainly for a good cause. You see, there are so many talented folks out there. Here is just a sampling of what I consider some of the best.
Make my Heart Pound Cake by Pint Sized Baker. Karyn from Pint Sized Baker, bakes a mean cake. Pound cake, that is. And check out the hearts! Believe it or not, the recipe is a lot simpler than it looks!
A-MAZ-ING! Way too pretty to eat, these Tic Tac Toe Chalkboard Cookies by Worth Pinning just make me smile. According to the recipe, these cookies are quite a handful, at 5″ wide. A perfect gift for somebody you are fond of.
Sweetheart Cookies from Here Comes the Sun. These sweet cookies have strawberry jam centers, with lots of powdered sugar. Pretty! And remind me of jelly filled donuts for some reason. LOVE!
Valentines Day Cake Pops by Bakerella. Leave it to Bakerella to come up with these cute chocolatey bears holding conversation hearts! These would make fabulous little gifts! And not too difficult to put together. Those feet? Made of Hershey Kisses! Cute!
Chocolate Dipped Heart Cookies by Simply Sweets by Honeybee. Love these sweet little heart cookies! Simple to make, but amazing to look at!
Go check out these amazing websites. These are ladies that cook well. And fortunately for me, I don’t live near any of them, or this diet thing would totally go out the window! Ha!
