Welcome to this week’s Photography Challenge! Every week, I challenge myself and all my readers to come up with some great photography using a new theme each week. It is a great way to get used to all those crazy settings on your digital camera, and take photos that you will be proud of! This week, our theme is “Pet Photography“!
But before we begin, please take a few moments to check out some of the amazing photos submitted last week, when our theme was birds! We had a ton of submissions!
Since I currently have a house full of dogs, it wasn’t difficult for me to find a subject. And Faith was more than happy to cooperate! I went out the gate to take out the trash and noticed several sets of eager eyes watching me through the fence. Perfect opportunity to get an interesting shot! Faith is the official guard dog of the Sitcom, along with my backyard, the dog food bin and of course, my lap.
This photo was taken with my Canon SX30IS and edited using the free software at picmonkey.com.
So how did you do?
It’s not too late! Email your birds submissions to me! Check out the Submission Guidelines. I will post your photos here along with any information that you would like to include. If you have a website, feel free to add a link to your site! I will be taking birds submissions all week! Feel free to send your original photo!
Are you new to the Sitcom? Be sure to check out my Frequently Asked Questions Page!
Next week’s theme for the 2013 Photography Challenge is “Mountains”. See the information at the bottom of the post for details!
