The answer to that never-ending question, “Where do you want to eat?”

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Arby’s for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The nice folks at Arby’s have asked me to try their new Smokehouse Brisket sandwich and tell you about it.  The info from Arby’s sounded awesome.  Apparently their new Smokehouse Brisket sandwich is smoked for at least 13 hours. Who could pass that up?  So, this weekend, we took a break from our routine and set out to Find an Arby’s.

You know, when my husband and I went on our first date, we had a conversation that should have prepared me for all future outings with this oddly captivating guy. It went something like this:

Him: “Where would you like to go eat?”
Me: “Anywhere would be fine”.
Him: “It’s up to you. Where would you like to go?”
Me: “I like most anything. Anywhere you want to go.”
Him: “You pick. I’m happy with anywhere.”
Me: “Okay, how about Mexican?”
Him: “Hmmm.. I had that for lunch.”
Me: “Okay, how about Italian?”
Him: “Well… I just had that earlier this week and it didn’t set right”.
Me: “Barbeque?” Him: “Hate that”.
Me: Sigh…”Well where do you want to go?”
Him: “Anywhere you want is fine.”

That’s my husband, “master of indecision”. We are fans of eating out- which stems partly from our fight against our anti-social tendencies and maybe a little from the fact that I’m not the best cook in the world.  But over the years we have come up with favorite places and our relative set routine. This of course was with a lot of trial and error and with the above conversation happening at least once a week for years.

In fact it still happens. But this time, I had a plan.  We were checking out Arby’s!

We ordered the Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich and were quite pleasantly surprised that it actually looked like the photo of the sandwich in the ad!  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered something from a menu and it did not look anything at all like the photo when it arrived.  Arby’s Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich is piled high with slow-smoked beef brisket, topped with smoked Gouda cheese, crispy onions, BBQ sauce and mayo, and served on a toasted, bakery-style bun. It looked absolutely fabulous!

So how did it taste?  Well let me allow my husband to tell you – in his own quiet way…

Gosh, every time I do a video, I am appalled even more by my Mickey Mouse voice!  Oh, and I figured out after shooting this video that maybe, just maybe, I should turn my cell phone sideways while shooting a video.  Still learning here, folks!

But the hubby and his sandwich were still stars of the show, even with a terrible director and camera person.  Ha!

Anyway, we both totally loved the Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich.  It was definitely worth the visit to Arbys.  Be sure to go visit them and check it out.  I’m betting you will like it too!  And next time we get into our “where do you want to go” conversation, a mention of Arby’s and their Smokehouse Brisket sandwich just might end the normally lengthy discussion.

Unless he already had it for lunch, that is…

So why do you love Arby’s?  Is it the awesome roast beef sandwiches, their fun specialty sandwiches or are you just a curly fry kinda person?
