Tackling Mount Christmas Card, and feeding the family in style! Who knew?

You see, craft blogging is just one of my jobs.  I have a busy day job too!  Such is the season. My company is very holiday spirity and they send out literally thousands of hand-signed Christmas cards every year. So it is my job to distribute them around the company and get multiple signatures on each and every card and then to get them sent off.

Fun. With a capital F.

I can close my eyes right now and still see stacks of cards ingrained on the inside of my eyelids. And as I sit here typing this, they are again piling around me.

I’m thinking if I sat here too long, I might get lost in the stacks. Sometime near Christmas, the boss will say, “Where’s Suzy? I haven’t seen her in days!” A search will ensue and someone will eventually find me flattened to a pancake underneath a huge stack of Christmas cheer.

Did you ever read “Flat Stanley” as a kid? That would be me. Flattened where they can now just put a stamp on my face and mail me home right along with all the Christmas cards. Hey, maybe I’ve discovered the next weight loss fad? Who knew?

 Simply lay out the frozen chicken pieces on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20- 30 minutes.

The sauce packets go in boiling water on your stovetop.

 Here is the chicken parmesan awesomeness as it came out of the oven.  I peeked around the corner and the hubby was totally absorbed with watching the latest car auction on television.  I could get away with saying this was home made!  Mess up my hair a bit, toss a little flour on my nose, and he’ll never know!

The final touch was to pour the sauce packets over the chicken and call the hubby to dinner.  He was suitably impressed, that is until he found the empty box in the trash can.  Sigh.

But he did say it was delicious, which is high praise from my husband.
