The nice folks at All Free Christmas Crafts have released their list of the Top 100 Christmas Projects of 2013. And I am thrilled to announce that my DIY Ice Candles made that list!
Mom originally made ice candles in the 1970′s. So they have been around a while. But the simplicity of making something with thrifted containers, old crayons and wax and turning it into something amazing is what crafty life is all about. So, when I decided to make a new batch of ice candles, I called up my mom and we made them together. Years ago, these were what she made for Christmas presents. What a beautiful gift!
