Gossiping Birds on a Wire- free pattern!

by Susan Myers on March 20, 2014

Reader, Deb from Deb9 Creations, contacted me to let me know that she recreated my free Gossiping Birds Pattern into an amazing piece of artwork for her sister!

Don’t you just love the bright, sunny colors!  Deb used scraps of pretty paper on a canvas that she had textured and painted orange.  Her final project and beautiful gift to her sister is amazing!  You can find the whole story at Deb9 Creations.

This particular pattern is very versatile!  You can find the Gossiping Birds on a Wire Pattern and many other free Sitcom patterns on my Free Pattern Page.  You first saw it here when I used metallic acrylic paints and painted it onto a mirror.  I love the fact that bright cheery colors just suit this little flock of gossiping birds.

And speaking about bright cheery colors, how about tackling it with florescent fabric pens!  This colorful Gossiping Birds Tote was fun and easy to make!

Did you make something using one of my tutorials or patterns?

I’d love to see it and share it with my readers!!  It is so fun to see a little inspiration go a long way!

Hi Suzy,

Just wanted to let you know I received my stencil that I won for your give away. My grandkids are stenciling on craft sticks and then I will glue them on a can. Then add some pretty twine and their mom will have a great birthday present! This is taking a little longer than I thought because they are sooo tired of being in the house. Weather has been bitterly cold so no outside time. I also have started the faux tin tiles, but I am so hyper critical of things that I try that I get discouraged, but like doing it so won’t give up! I will send pictures of our completed projects when they are done. Once again, thank you for sharing so many beautiful projects with us

Hi Janet!

I’m so glad you are having fun with your stencils! It is definitely a good project to keep the kids busy during the cold spells. Hopefully you will be seeing spring there soon. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
