So this week, I put together some Savory Chicken and Bacon Pockets using Hormel Foods Premium Chicken Breast and Real Bacon Pieces.
You know that I specialize in easy recipes right? These tasty pockets are not only easy to make, but are perfect for a fun get together!
These yummy pockets are crispy, and full of cheesy flavor. And it looks like I spent a while in the kitchen whipping them up doesn’t it? Want to know how to make them?
This recipe features HORMEL® Premium Chicken Breast and Real Bacon Pieces. I love using both of these products. They not only save me a ton of time in preparation, but are a delicious addition at an affordable price!
Savory Chicken and Bacon Pockets
2 tubes 8 oz each, refrigerated crescent rolls
2- 5oz cans HORMEL® Premium Chicken Breast
1-1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/4 onion, chopped
2 tbsp. HORMEL Real Bacon Pieces
2 tbsp. dijon mustard
Drain the cans of Hormel Premium Chicken Breast and add them to a large bowl. Mix in the shredded cheese.
Add in the bacon pieces, chopped green pepper and onions, mayonnaise, and dijon mustard. Mix well.
Break off a triangle shaped crescent roll and form it into a square. Add about 2 tbsp. of the meat mixture to the center of the dough square.
Fold up the corners and pinch together in the center as shown above. Place on a greased pan and bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes.
Remove the browned chicken pockets from the oven and allow to cool.
