Connie makes a lot of her quilts using the Lil’ Twister Tool from Country Schoolhouse. I’ve never seen this particular tool before, but I totally love the results! It is definitely something I will be adding to my quilting tool collection.
Connie says, “I first started sewing when I was about 13 and started quilting after I watched my friend’s mother piece and sew all kinds of tiny squares. Over the years I have worked at a fabric store, had a craft/quilting business and then took a break from quilting. I am now a grandmother living by the Mississippi River quilting again and enjoying all the new tools and toys”.
And check out her amazing machine quilting skills! I am totally in awe! Please take a few moments and check out Connie’s site, Quilting by the River. She has so many wonderful projects there that will totally inspire you.
Then take another moment and promote yourself! Please feel free to link up your latest crafty project, your blog or your etsy shop. That way we can all get a little self-promotion in. A little bit of advertising and self promotion never hurts. Especially free advertising! Rules are as follows:
1- There are no rules…Link your website, your etsy site, your projects, your latest hairdo. Whatever. It doesn’t have to be crafts. Like, I said- no rules!! Go crazy! This is your chance for self promotion! If you choose to, I have a button on the side that you can add to your blog. But don’t worry, I’m not the button police. The object of the game is to get you and your stuff out there!
Next week, I will feature one of you! So get linking and get your stuff out there for all of us to see!
