5 Skin Care Tips for Summer & FREE Crochet Hand Towel Pattern!

Crochet Plaid Hand Towel Pattern

I love handmade cotton hand towels.  They not only look beautiful, but they wash up well and feel great on your skin.  A perfect pair with any skin care product.

For this project I used:

Cotton Yarn in white, purple and lime green
Size H Crochet Hook
Free Tartan Plaid Washcloth Pattern from Happy Berry Crochet

This simple pattern from Happy Berry Crochet is great for a beginner.  You just have to know how to make a double crochet stitch.  The hardest part of this pattern was choosing the colors.

If you are making a hand towel, I highly recommend using cotton yarn.  You can find it at most craft stores and yarn supply shops in most any color in the rainbow.

The first part of the pattern has you creating the version above which in includes spaces for your vertical stripes.  The next step is to crochet in those vertical stripes.

Love this look!

For a bit of variety, I created the second towel of the set with the same colors in different color combination and left out the vertical stripes.
