This week I am featuring two folks from my last Commercial Break Thursday.

First up is Shars Art Pottery. Sharlene Sieloff is an artist with quite an interesting background. According to her site, she started her art adventure over fifty years ago. She has enjoyed giving workshops and classes in painting, pottery and sculpture to great students over the years and now is retired and continues to play with the “art of the day”. Shar works out of Tawas City, Michigan and likes making functional pottery like bowls, coffee mugs,tea cups, vases, casseroles, plates, and soap dishes. And she also does fine art paintings and classical sculpture. She works in stone, bronze and clay.

My next feature is Sunny Pritchard from Life in Rehab. Sunny’s profile states: No, not that kind of rehab! I’m a woman who likes to take what I have and re-imagine, recreate, and re-purpose it. Rehabilitate it to something useful and attractive. Something about throwing perfectly good items away rubs me the wrong way- unless of course you do it, at which point I’ll probably drag it home. And let me tell you, you will be amazed at what she comes up with! Being a major fan of making inexpensive things look expensive, I can totally relate to her awesomeness.
