You know the Sitcom started out as purely a craft blog. And true to it’s name, the Sitcom hosts over 200 crafty tutorials. But lately, I have gotten into experimenting in the kitchen and have branched out with lots of fun and easy recipes that are perfect for parties.
This “Yes You CAN” attitude helps me keep up with the hustle and bustle of the holiday spirit! Products like Hunt’s MANWICH are perfect for creating easy, yet delicious holiday meals, holiday side dishes, and easy dinners. This week with a get together coming up, I put together some yummy Barbecue Party Bites featuring MANWICH. They take no time at all to make, and are fabulous!
Ever had that issue where you are invited to a gathering and they tell you to bring a dish? And the first thing that goes through your mind is what the heck are you going to make that takes the least amount of time and makes the biggest impression? I mean, the craft room is calling, right?
Or is it just me?
There have been, shall we say, “incidences” in my kitchen. I have crafters ADHD, and cannot seem to keep my mind on what is in the oven when there is crafting waiting for me. I wander off, seeing something shiny and next thing I know there is smoke in the kitchen.
So the family was very pleasantly surprised when they discovered to their amazement that I can actually make something without burning it! Imagine that!
Barbeque Party Bites
1 can Hunt’s MANWICH
1 lb. hamburger
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 cans crescent rolls
shredded cheddar cheese
Brown ground beef in a skillet, and drain.
Add one can of Hunt’s MANWICH and 2 tbsp. brown sugar.
Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Roll out crescent dough. Smooth out the diagonal cuts in the dough as shown above.
Re-cut the crescent rolls into squares as shown above.
Place the squares into a non-stick mini muffin pan.
Add a spoonful of MANWICH sauce mixture into each cup. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes until browned. Add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar on each one and put in the oven for an addition couple of minutes to melt the cheese.
This recipes makes 48 tasty Barbecue Party Bites!
They are actually very delicious! The savory taste of the MANWICH sauce mixed with the sweetness of brown sugar and crescent roll is a great combo.
And the best part? They take just minutes and it looks like you created something fancy!
