Round Thirteen
I began with a spin of the wheel to choose which of the 50 stitches would be used for round ten.Ā You can download the free Crochet Stitch list HERE. Chaos Crochet Stitches. I used the Free Spinning Wheel Random Number Generator that I found here to choose which stitch.
The spinning wheel chose number 29.Ā The stitch I will be using for this round is called the Lacy Striped Popcorn Stitch! I closed my eyes and chose a color from my bowl of yarn colors…It is now decided!Ā Round twelve will be in Terra Cotta, the stitch will be the Lacy Striped Popcorn Stitch and I rolled dice for the number of rows and it will be 12 rows!Ā Let’s get started!

Adjustment Row
Before we begin round thirteen, we need to make an adjustment row from the previous round.Ā I used the Terra Cotta yarn to create a row of single crochets.Ā Also be sure to count your stitches during this row to be sure that you still have your original amount of stitches.
Lacy Striped Popcorn Stitch
Very cool stitch!Ā Loving the pattern on this one.Ā It looks great in one color and 12 rows gives plenty of pattern.Ā At least for me, it does work up a bit looser, due to the popcorn stitches, so going down to a G hook was the plan.Ā We are trying to keep the edges as even as we can and sometimes it helps to raise or lower the size of your hook depending upon the stitch. In this instance, I went down a hook size at a size (G) in order to keep my blanket edges as even as possible.Ā Keep in mind that everyone’s tension is different, so play with it and see what works best for you!

Row 1: Chain 1, sc across.Ā Chain 1 and turn.
