Serendipity Sampler Block of the Month

Beginning October 16, 2026!

Join me for the Serendipity Sampler Block of the Month, where the spinning wheel will choose my quilt blocks AND colors. Who knows what beautiful combinations are waiting to happen?

Each month, I’ll create two quilt blocks in the whimsical style of Suzy’s Sitcom and share the patterns FREE for 30 days. Together, we’ll watch our blocks grow into a beautiful, colorful sampler quilt—one surprise at a time!

Serendipity Sampler brings together 25 pieced blocks, each transformed into a Suzy’s Sitcom original with whimsical touches of appliqué and embroidery. Every block has its own personality, making this sampler as fun to stitch as it is to display! A wonderful stash buster, this pattern lets you turn favorite fabric scraps into a colorful quilt full of charm. Mix and match for a playful, scrappy look, or choose a coordinated color scheme to make it uniquely yours.

It’s a wonderful excuse to dig into your fabric stash, try unexpected combinations, and enjoy creating something uniquely yours. ✨

So how does this work?

I will begin each month with a spin of the wheel to choose which 2 of the 110 blocks on my list would be created. I will also spin the wheel to choose my colors. You can download the free Quilt Block List HERE. I will use the Free Spinning Wheel Random Number Generator that I found here to choose which blocks and colors to use. My challenge then, it to make 2 blocks in the SuzysSitcom style using only my fabrics from my stash. (I will use the color black in every block for a cohesive design).

Your Challenge

Your challenge is to either use fabrics you love, or pull from your stash and create this fun Sampler Quilt! Each 2 block set will be available free to all Sitcom Readers for one month, and after that, will be available in my shop for a small fee.

Finished Quilt is 58″ x 64″

Download your free patterns from this website each month! If you are following along with this project, I recommend you mark your calendars and come in early to download the monthly installments. Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to SuzysSitcom, or join us on the Suzy’s Quilters and Crafters Facebook group for monthly reminders. If you miss an installment, or come to the party late, past blocks will be available for a small charge in my shop.
