Pretty Mosaic Glass Candle Lantern- easy tutorial!

My latest post for Another Cent Saved is now on line!  I created this pretty Mosaic Glass Candle Lantern from a recycled jar and dollar store decorative glass!

In my house, nobody is allowed to throw away anything that has crafty potential.  With that said, I have bins of toilet paper tubes, and plastic and glass containers sitting around waiting for a plan.  This week, I took one of my many pickle jars and created a pretty DIY Mosaic Glass Candle Lantern!

  2. Love this idea. I’ll bet you could put it on a porch that gets Sun, insert one of those cheapie solar lights, just take the stake off, and make a pretty glow on your porch at night. I have an old candle globe that I do this to by just setting the light in a sunny spot and inserting it at dark under the globe. My porch is to shady to get the Sun but it works great. Now to find that glass left over from a long ago project. Lord that means going in that shed out there. 🙁
