This Feature Friday, I thought I’d show you around my shop! I have recently been concentrating on stained glass kits and while I am focusing on my Peacock Stained Glass Kit, very soon I will be coming out with the pattern only for those of you that would like it delivered to your email box.
I am also designing several new faux stained glass patterns to be released in the next couple of weeks. Currently my Faux Stained Glass Peacock Kit is only $20 including all supplies, pattern and illustrated instructions for a 16″ x 20″ finished piece. Making faux stained glass is a simple procedure that even the kids can do and all you need is a sheet of glass from a thrift store frame to start! The technique can be found in my tutorial here.
My Summer Jewels Quilt Kit is available through Discount Sewing Supply at a price of $29.99. The basic kit contains fabrics and illustrated instructions to make your quilt top, finished size 34 x 39 inches, and fabric for the binding. Backing and the pillow kit can be purchased separately. Kits available at Discount Sewing Supply are in limited quantity.
Of course the Etsy shop has it’s share of Ukrainian Eggs. Ranging in price from $25 to $50. My Ukrainian eggs are created using real chicken and goose eggs and a series of dyes and bees wax. You can find my post on how the process is achieved here. These eggs are collectors items and look beautiful displayed in a cabinet or sitting in a nest of moss.
Want something on the humorous side? How about these cute ornaments created from real chicken eggs? A paper tole process was used on the inside illustration to give it a 3D effect. Totally unique and priced low at $18, these little eggs make cute gifts.
In the coming weeks, my shop will be growing significantly, as I add lots of new patterns for both faux batik and faux stained glass. I also have some great tutorials coming up that I am very excited about.
So stay tuned!
