All Things Paper- a great book for paper crafters!

Ann Martin is the creator of All Things Paper, a blog about the latest in paper crafts, and the author of her new book called, All Things Paper. Her specialty is quilling or rolled paper art, and this awesome book is a compilation of beautiful tutorials by her and other established paper artists.

The first time I ran across Ann’s work was this amazing set of quilled antique keys.  Would you believe those are made of paper?  Ann inspired me to experiment with this medium and create my own unique pieces such as my Quilled Starry Night, and Faux Metal Wall Art.  So when Ann asked me to check out her new book, I was thrilled!  Kind of like hanging out with the likes of Sandra Bullock or Angelina Jolie!  I’m now touching elbows with the queen of paper arts!

Ann compiled tons of unique and beautiful paper crafts and put them all in one of these amazing books everyone should read.  All of the projects in this book are designed by respected paper craft artists who have been making amazing things with paper for many years. It is a great book for both novice and expert paper crafters, with projects for all skill levels.

Each project has easy step by step photos to follow along and lots of great detail. Projects include candle luminaries, jewelry, cards, a stationary box, and even a tote bag!  All made with that versatile medium, paper.  This book shows the gamut of paper creativity from jewelry, to art, to home decor

I got stuck in the jewelry section, finding some unique pieces and techniques that I have never considered before.  There are some great projects in this book!

Want to check it out?  Then be sure to swing by Amazon to find All Things Paper.  Oh, and don’t forget to visit Ann on her website, All Things Paper.  Every day is something new to inspire!  A favorite stop of mine each morning!

Ann inspired me again after looking at all the great paper projects in her book.  So, I created a quilled sparkly butterfly hair clip.  Want to know how to make it?

Well, stay tuned!  I will post the full tutorial on Friday with easy step by step photos for the beginning quiller.

I received a free copy of the book All Things Paper for this review.  All opinions are my own. It is an awesome book!
