The husband and I are both big fans of carrot cake. Well, we are a fan of desserts, and most anything that is sweet for that matter. So when I ran across M&M’s® Carrot Cake while shopping at Walmart the other day, I was intrigued. How can you make a candy taste like carrot cake? Is that even possible?
I’m here to tell you, yes it is! In fact, we loved them so much that I created Sweet Carrot Cake Parfaits with them!
This fun recipe took no time at all to make and it makes a sweet, colorful and unusual dessert! Perfect for a fun family gathering! Want to know how to make it?
Of course, the main colorful ingredient is M&M’s® Carrot Cake. So how do they make them taste like carrot cake? I’m sure that is a top secret file hidden in a lab somewhere behind guards; under lock and key. Somewhere there is a carrot cake recipe guard filing his nails and waiting for the next candy criminal to try and break the underground barriers….
Yep, I know. I have a runaway imagination. But isn’t it fun to imagine? I’m sure the guard is dressed in a colorful candy coating and is armed with a slingshot that flings mini M&M’s®. Right?
But the center of the M&M’s® are actually a white chocolate, which I’m sure makes it easier to create the flavor of carrot cake. Either way, they are delicious on their own, but even more fun in a yummy carrot cake dessert!
