Block of the Month- Sugar and Spice Quilt Pattern!

This month, I challenged myself to work with colors that I do not normally work with.  I had some leftover browns from my Sonoran Trail Quilt, and worked them into a pieced block with simple applique. The result is my new pattern called Sugar and Spice! For the current FREE Block of the Month Pattern, go HERE!

I love the look of this block and created two different versions of quilts using it.  The pattern includes simple piecing and applique techniques and full size template.

The instructions also include a step by step tutorial on how I do my needleturn applique.  You will be surprised at how easy my technique is!  Each individual block measures 8″ x 8″.

This is a print at home 9 page pattern that includes fully illustrated instructions for piecing and assembly of two different versions of this quilt.  Also included are suggestions for increasing the size to Full, Queen or King!
