Holiday for the Birds Sew Along- Block #2

Holiday for the Birds will offer 8 different bird themed quilt blocks which are assembled with simple pieced blocks.  The finished quilt top measures 48″ x 58″.  Collect each free block as they are released and create a beautiful cherished holiday quilt!

Each month, I will be walking you through this quilt top step-by-step with tips, and thorough instructions and free templates. Holiday for the Birds was created with traditional applique, with touches of embroidery for embellishments. Of course, it can easily be done in fused applique or even with blended wool felt!

Today, I am releasing block number 2 of my new quilt pattern, Holiday for the Birds, called Bird & Tree!   Yes, I believe a tree is a necessary addition to a fun Christmas themed quilt! For the current FREE block available go here: Holiday for the Birds Sew Along.

Each block is a work of art on its own and can not only be featured in a quilt, but as pillows, table toppers and much more!

So how does this work?

Starting August 1, 2019, blocks will be offered on the first of the month, with the last being offered on March 1, 2020.  Each block will be available free to all Sitcom Readers until the end of that month.

Download your free pattern from this website each month!  If you are following along with this project, I recommend you mark your calendars and come in early to download the monthly installments. Or join us on the Suzy’s Quilters and Crafters Facebook group for monthly reminders. 2. Join the Holiday for the Birds Block of the Month!

As a Holiday for the Birds Block of the Month Club member, for a one-time fee of $8, you will have access to download the blocks as they are released via an exclusive LOGIN page created just for you on SuzysSitcom.com. You will have access to this personal page, and all previous and current Holiday for the Birds patterns as they are released until March 30, 2020.  Each pattern will be available in PDF digital format, ready for home printing.

You will also get monthly email reminders with a link to your personal LOGIN page, reminding you to check your page for the latest free block pattern!  By March 2020, you will have the whole pattern available to you!
