Well, a new flock of Gossiping Paisley Chickens has flown in and landed at the Sitcom! I showed you how to make these fun chickens a few months ago, and now I have a bunch of them in my Etsy shop for those that would just love to own one rather than make it! After all, we could all use a bit of gossip, right?
Introducing my latest flock of Gossiping Paisley Chickens! Each chicken has her own personality, and each has plenty to talk about! You wouldn’t believe all the chatter while I was trying to get the last details painted! Each paisley lady is made from a dried gourd, hand painted with bright acrylic paints and sealed with clear acrylic sealant. They are decorated with colored gemstones and other pretty accessories too!
Let me introduce them to you!
Meet Daisy. Daisy loves the casino! You will find her most days propped up next to a slot machine, working her way to becoming a millionaire. So far, she hasn’t made much progress in that direction, but she is positive the day will come! Ask her about the time she saw Barry Manilow at the Black Jack table. She’ll talk your ear off!
Meet Alice. Alice loves to travel. In fact she spends more time on cruise ships than any other hen I know. Which makes for great gossip! Alice can tell you all about the captain and his crew members, who is dating who, and all about the time she got to sit at the same banquet table with Barbara Streisand. Alice sure gets around!
Meet Agnes. Agnes is a huge fan of the National Enquirer, and most days you can find her perusing the headlines and looking for photos of Brad Pitt and George Clooney. You can’t fault her for her taste in men, that’s for sure!
Meet Ethel. While gossiping is her main hobby, you can often find Ethel perusing the local library for the latest in hot romance novels. She loves to sit in Starbucks with all the other yuppies, reading her latest find along with a Grande Mocha Latte with extra whipped cream. Because that is what life is all about, right?
Meet Mable. Mable is not only a gossiping chicken, she is a microbiologist. She can fill you in on the latest gossip- who said what to who, who is dating who, who is wearing what; and at the same time lecture you on cell biology. She is a multitasking chicken!
Meet Edna. Edna loves reality TV. Any given day you can find her catching up on the latest episode of Honey Boo Boo or Housewives of Atlanta. Ask her about her favorite housewife. You will get an ear full. Edna has even tried out several times to get on Survivor. One day she just might get that call! Very exciting.
Meet Fern. Fern is not only a gossip, but an amazing cook. So amazing, in fact that she has tried out ten times to get on Hell’s Kitchen. So far, she hasn’t had much success, but she knows her day is coming. Nobody can make risotto like Fern.
You can find this pretty flock of ladies at my Etsy shop! Please stop by and check it out! You will find not only gossiping chickens, but lots of other colorful gift ideas!
