Santa and Rudy in the Photo Booth

At the beginning of the year, I challenged myself to complete one UFO (Unfinished Object) a month. Unfortunately, I did not make it through the entire year, but I have to say that I didn’t do terribly.  I finished a total of eight UFO’s this year, which is eight more than normal, so I’m going to call the challenge a relative success.

My latest project was a quilted wall hanging called Santa and Rudy in the Photo Booth.

It features Santa and Rudolf getting their photos made in a photo booth.  I found the pattern at the AQS quilt show in Knoxville a few years back.  So incredibly cute.  I hand appliqued and hand quilted this wall hanging and it will make a great holiday decoration.

You can find this pattern here The Pattern Spot.

The finished wall hanging measures approximately 18″ wide by 68″ tall.  I made the beards using scraps of batting and all appliqued pieces are felt.

The project was easy to transport, although I have to admit that all that batting puts lots of lint on my black dress pants.  But that’s just one to the things a crafter has to learn to live with…
