Halloween is generally celebrated around here with lots of food that just might not go well with my diet.  I love a sweet treat, and I wanted to make some fun cupcakes and punch for our Halloween gathering.  So,with the help of Sunkist TEN and 7Up TEN, I created some yummy googly eyed Orange Soda Cupcakes and Orange Sherbet Punch!

Cute aren’t they?  And I bet they are a total hit!  The fun thing is that they are made with Sunkist TEN, at only ten calories a can.  Yep, I know there are other calories there, but every bit helps, right?

And true to form, I came up with two recipes that are incredibly easy to make and don’t take a ton of time.  Because the craft room is calling! Want to know how to make them?

Orange Soda Cupcakes

1 box orange cake mix
1 box lemon instant pudding mix
1 can Sunkist TEN
4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Whipped Topping
Gummy Googly Eyes

Add to a greased cupcake pan.  (This recipe makes about 24 nice sized cupcakes or a two layer round cake).

Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes (until the tops are browned and bounce back to the touch).

Once the cupcakes are cool, remove them from the pan and put them in pretty Halloween cupcake wrappers.

Top with dallops of whipped cream and then add the gummy eyes.  (You can find them at the dollar store in the Halloween candy section).  And now all your cupcakes will be staring at you!

Kroger has a whole line of TEN sodas with just ten calories a serving, such as Dr. Pepper TEN, 7Up TEN, A&W TEN, Canada Dry TEN and of course Sunkist TEN.  So, with that in mind, I picked up some more soda for my next recipe:

Orange Sherbet Punch

1 2-liter bottle Sunkist TEN
1 2-liter bottle 7Up TEN
1 container of sherbet (any flavor)

Add all ingredients together into a punch bowl.  How easy is that?

All set for a party and I still have plenty of time to hit the craft room and paint up some paisley chickens!

Celebrate with fun and easy recipes that are pretty tasty too!
